Artisan Roast II



Now doesn't that just look like a perfect cappuccino? I'm loving the speckled chocolate effect.

The mushrooms on corn bread were a major disappointment - a second coffee reminded me that all was well with the world and that one buys coffee from a specialist coffee shop, or the muesli with fruit at a push. But really in artisan roast it is all about the coffee.

  1. Your mushrooms couldn't have been as bad as that place in Clifton Hill. Can't even be bothered remembering the name of the place.

    Poached eggs with mushrooms and goats cheese with crispy polenta. Sounded awesome. Indeed the polenta was great, but the eggs had been undercooked (the whites were barely opaque) and the mushrooms so overcooked they had shriveled to the size of dirty brown capers. FAIL!
